A 62 year old man who was rushed to the hospital after falling in a pond at Murphy Park in Springdale early Thursday (June 6) has died, according to Washington County Coroner Roger Morris. The man, identified as Jasper Zornes of Springdale, was unconscious when he was taken out of the water, then was rushed to the hospital, said Springdale Police Capt. Mike Peters. Anderson received a 180 day jail sentence, but 173 days were suspended, records show. He also was given credit for seven days.
